At Aristocatic Maine Coons, we raise a limited number of exceptional Maine Coon kittens each year. Our program is intentionally small, focused on health, temperament, structure, and ethical placement—not volume.
Because demand for our kittens consistently exceeds availability, we operate a paid waitlist for families who are financially prepared and genuinely ready to move forward when the right kitten becomes available.
Maine Coon waitlists are common among ethical breeders who produce limited, carefully planned litters. A waitlist helps ensure kittens are placed thoughtfully rather than sold on a first come, first served basis.
Fees, timelines, and policies vary by breeder and should always be reviewed carefully before applying.
Maine Coon kittens from Aristocatic Maine Coons are priced starting at $3,000+.
Joining our waitlist requires a $250 waitlist fee which becomes non-refundable after approval. This fee secures a place on our waitlist only. It is not a deposit , does not apply toward the purchase price of the kitten and does not guarantee a specific color, sex or timeframe.
Submission of the application and payment of the waitlist fee confirms acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms.

Our paid waitlist allows us to:

Many of our kittens are reserved before they are ever publicly listed, making the waitlist the primary way families secure priority access.

Our waitlist is supported by a clearly defined breeding program grounded in health testing, genetic responsibility and ethical decision making- all of which are outlined in our Health, Genetics and Ethical Breeding Standards page.
We breed a variety of Maine Coon colors and patterns, including black smoke, silver tabby, red silver, and other carefully planned combinations.
After submitting the application and waitlist fee, approved families will receive confirmation of their placement number on the waitlist along with general information about upcoming litters as it becomes available.
Placement numbers reflect the order of approved applicants and may change as families accept, pass, or expire.
Approval & Payment Processing
Submission of this application does not guarantee approval. Applications are reviewed prior to final waitlist placement.
If an application is not approved, any submitted waitlist fee will be declined or voided through PayPal, and no funds will be captured.
How the Paid Waitlist Works
1. Submit Your Application
Complete the waitlist application in full and submit the $250 waitlist placement fee.
2. Application Review
Applications are reviewed carefully to ensure alignment between our program and your home.
3. Waitlist Placement (12 Months)
Approved families remain on the waitlist for up to 12 months from the date of approval.
4. Kitten Offers
As litters mature, kittens are offered to families in waitlist order.
You will receive details such as general color range, sex, and estimated go-home timing.
5. Decision Window
Families have 24 hours to accept or pass on a kitten offer.
If a family chooses to accept, a separate reservation deposit is required to secure the kitten and remove the family from the waitlist.
